With the victory, Birdville improves its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Hawks host Denton (Denton, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Denton lost 47-37 in their recent league challenge against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX)

The Mustangs (16-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Ryan trounced Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX), 77-44, in a league battle.
