Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blackhawk trounces Hopewell

The Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), 72-27 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record.
The Vikings now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Beaver for a WPIAL 4A 2 test on Tuesday, January 24. Hopewell will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 76-59 league loss to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-3.
