Broadview/Lavina Pirates (Lavina, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades (Reed Point, MT), 70-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Broadview/Lavina upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Custer/Hysham (Custer, MT) to clash with the in a C District 5 bout on Saturday, January 21. The go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Custer/Hysham lost 70-35 in their recent league bout against Harlowton/Ryegate (Harlowton, MT)

Next up, the Renegades clash with the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Eagles (Busby, MT) in a C District 5 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Reed Point/Rapelje will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 71-33 league loss to Melstone (Melstone, MT).
