The Burlington Demons basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Waterford Wolverines to 61 in the Demons league triumph on Friday.
The Demons now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oshkosh West for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Burlington will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 53-50 league loss to Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.
Next up, the Wolverines play the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions (New Berlin, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Waterford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 102-43 league loss to Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI).
