In Friday's league match, the visiting Burns Hilanders basketball team scored a good 49-29 triumph over the McLoughlin Pioneers.
In their next game, the Hilanders meet the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a 3A Eastern Oregon match, on Saturday, January 21. Burns will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 2-12 record after their 41-36 league loss to Vale (Vale, OR).
With the defeat, McLoughlin moves to 3-11 on the year. The Pioneers host Nyssa (Nyssa, OR) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Eastern Oregon match on Saturday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-9. Nyssa won 50-49 in their recent league match against Umatilla (Umatilla, OR)
