The Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball felled the host Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX), 57-42 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX). The go into the 4A Region IV District 31 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Harmony School of Excellence was beaten by Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX), 80-55, in a league test.

The Cottonpickers now own a 1-21 record. They play next when they travel to King for a 4A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, January 24. Robstown will encounter a Brahmas squad coming off a 82-49 league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 12-11.
