Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA), 65-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Lions host Paideia (Atlanta, GA) to play the Pythons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Pythons go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Paideia won 73-49 in their recent league bout against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 64-57 league loss to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA).
