Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA), 59-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carlsbad upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a Palomar bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 15-6. Torrey Pines won 76-63 in their recent league bout against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) in a Palomar bout, on Wednesday, January 25. El Camino will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 62-51 league win over San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).
