The West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) basketball felled the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 72-60 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (10-6) will now prepare for their test against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders go into the 3A Conference 48 test with a 1-15 record. In their last test, South Rowan went down by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 71-29, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a 3A Conference 48 test on Tuesday, January 24. Carson will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 83-60 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-9.
