With the victory, J.I. Burton improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Black Raiders host Eastside (Coeburn, VA) to confront the Spartans in a Cumberland challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Castlewood will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 79-30 league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA).
