The Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) basketball nipped the visiting McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), 67-63 in Friday's league test.
The Raiders (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Rangers go into the 6A Region IV District 25 test with a 12-15 record. In their last test, Vista Ridge was tipped by Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 47-37, in a league test.
The Mavericks now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to Manor for a 6A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, January 24. McNeil will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 73-34 league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-8.
