Texas High School Basketball - Pollok Central can't hold off Central Heights

January 20, 2023: Pollok, TX 75969

The Central Heights Blue Devils basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Pollok Central Bulldogs to 40 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Diboll for a 3A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Central Heights will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 80-33 league win over Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 12-7.

The Bulldogs (15-13) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Red Devils enter the 3A Region III District 21 contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Huntington was nudged by Newton (Newton, TX), 37-31, in a league contest.
