The Somerset Eagles basketball team (Somerset, PA), was overwhelmed 65-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA)
The Dragons now possess a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chestnut Ridge for a Laurel Highlands battle on Monday, January 23. Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 55-38 league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Lions record now stands at 5-9.
The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans come into the Laurel Highlands battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Greater Johnstown trounced Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA), 89-54, in a league battle.
