The Centralia Panthers basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Washington County Tigers to 50 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Centralia will battle a Trojans team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Valley Heights was routed by Troy (Troy, KS), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
