Colfax Bulldogs (Colfax, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chewelah Cougars (Chewelah, WA), 67-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Colfax upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to St. George's (Spokane, WA) to play the Dragons in a 2B Bi-County bout on Saturday, January 21. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 11-4. St. George's lost 59-57 in their recent league bout against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) in a 2B Bi-County bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Chewelah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 68-60 league loss to Asotin (Asotin, WA).
