River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI), 67-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, River Falls upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Superior (Superior, WI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Superior won 76-48 in their recent non-league bout against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Chippewa Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 55-42 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, WI).
