Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crawford Colts (San Diego, CA), 62-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Clairemont upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Valley Center lost 68-57 in their recent league bout against Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Crawford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 71-31 league loss to Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
