The Clarendon Broncos basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Wellington Skyrockets to 44 in the Broncos league victory on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a 2A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Clarendon will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 56-50 league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-9.

The Skyrockets (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The Irish go into the 2A Region I District 2 outing with a 4-12 record. In their last outing, Shamrock defeated Memphis (Memphis, TX), 56-43, in a league outing.
