Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Clarksburg upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Coyotes host Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to clash with the Barons in a Montgomery 4A South bout on Friday, January 27. The Barons go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Bethesda-Chevy Chase lost 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against Damascus (Damascus, MD)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Quince Orchard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 66-58 non-league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD).
