Hapeville Charter Hornets (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA), 54-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Hapeville Charter upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Westminster lost 53-39 in their recent league bout against Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Angoras play the Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Clarkston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 64-58 league win over Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA).
