Clarksville Academy Cougars (Clarksville, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Davidson Academy Bears (Nashville, TN), 66-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clarksville Academy upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mount Juliet Christian Academy (Mt. Juliet, TN) to play the Saints in a Division II-A Middle District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Mount Juliet Christian Academy lost 89-19 in their recent league bout against Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN)

Next up, the Bears play the Nashville Christian Eagles (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Davidson Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 83-65 league win over Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN).
