The Clay County Tigers basketball team (Manchester, KY), was routed 94-64 in Friday's league battle with the host North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY)
The Jaguars now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. North Laurel will battle a Colonels team coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 15-2.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Middlesboro was routed by Harlan (Harlan, KY), 100-51, in a league battle.
