Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS), 59-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Arrows host Terry (Terry, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Terry won 78-73 in their recent league bout against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Madison Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 45-34 league win over Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS).
