Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cuyama Valley Bears (New Cuyama, CA), 48-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Coast Union upgrades its record to 4-13 on the season. The Broncos host Shandon (Shandon, CA) to play the Outlaws in a Coast Valley bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Outlaws go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Shandon lost 51-21 in their recent league bout against Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Coast Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cuyama Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 73-25 league win over Shandon (Shandon, CA).
