South Carolina High School Basketball - Columbia topped by Fairfield Central

The Fairfield Central Griffins basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Columbia Capitals to 47 in the Griffins league victory on Friday.

The Griffins now sport a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Falls for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26.

The Capitals (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Keenan (Columbia, SC). The Raiders come into the AA Region 4 contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Keenan was defeated by Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC), 60-53, in a league contest.
