The Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN) basketball nipped the visiting Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN), 64-57 in Friday's league test.

The Yellowjackets (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record.

The Vikings/Viqueens now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Cannon County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Community will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Moore County (Lynchburg, TN). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
