The Covenant Classical Cavaliers basketball team (Fort Worth, TX), was overwhelmed 75-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX)

The Eagles now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fellowship Academy for a TAPPS 3A District 1 battle on Saturday, January 21. Lubbock Christian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 48-38 league loss to Covenant Classical (Fort Worth, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-10.

The Cavaliers (11-13) will now prepare for their battle against San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Patriots come into the TAPPS 3A District 1 battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, San Jacinto Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX), 77-43, in a league battle.
