The Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Crestwood Cadets to 57 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Decorah-North Winneshiek will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 85-41 league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 7-11.
Next up, the Cadets play the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Crestwood will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 68-49 league win over Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA).
