With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Lee (Baytown, TX) to confront the Ganders in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Ganders come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Lee lost 75-37 in their recent league challenge against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Crosby will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 44-40 league win over Nederland (Nederland, TX).
