Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN), 56-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cumberland County upgrades its record to 4-17 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN) to play the Panthers in a 3A District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Stone Memorial won 57-53 in their recent league bout against DeKalb County (Smithville, TN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) in a 3A District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Macon County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record.
