Cusick Panthers (Cusick, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northport Mustangs (Northport, WA), 76-74 in a league bout.

With the win, Cusick upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers host Inchelium (Inchelium, WA) to clash with the Hornets in a 1B Northeast bout on Saturday, January 21. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Inchelium won 35-30 in their recent league bout against Selkirk (Ione, WA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Columbia Lions (Hunters, WA) in a 1B Northeast bout, on Saturday, January 21. Northport will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 50-49 league loss to Republic (Republic, WA).
