With the victory, Dallas Center-Grimes upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Newton (Newton, IA) to play the Cardinals in a Little Hawkeye battle on Tuesday, January 24. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 7-4. Newton lost 52-47 in their recent league battle against Indianola (Indianola, IA)

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch come into the Little Hawkeye battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Pella was toppled by Norwalk (Norwalk, IA), 65-35, in a league battle.
