The Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) basketball crushed the host Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), 54-13 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Gordon Lee was trounced by Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 79-53, in a league test.
The Pumas now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Dade County for a A D1 Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 24. Dalton Academy will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Berean Academy (Hixson, TN). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-10.
