Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harmony School of Discovery Tigers (Houston, TX), 63-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Danbury upgrades its record to 5-20 on the season. The Panthers travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to play the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Van Vleck won 52-42 in their recent league bout against Brazos (Wallis, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Harmony School of Discovery will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
