The Davenport North Wildcats basketball team (Davenport, IA), was overwhelmed 71-46 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA)
The Spartans now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bettendorf for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 24. Pleasant Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-61 non-league win over Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Knights come into the Mississippi battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Assumption was overwhelmed by North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 67-58, in a league battle.
