The Yellow Medicine East Sting basketball team (Granite Falls, MN), was overwhelmed 63-32 in Friday's league battle with the host Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN)

The Blackjacks now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canby for a A Section 3 battle on Monday, January 23. Dawson-Boyd will confront a Lancers team coming off a 77-74 league loss to Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN). The Lancers record now stands at 8-6.

The Sting (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN). The Fighting Saints come into the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg trounced Minneota (Minneota, MN), 56-43, in a non-league battle.
