Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH), 68-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Gallia Academy upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to play the Dragons in a Ohio Valley bout on Friday, January 27. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 12-5.
Next up, the Hornets play the Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Dawson-Bryant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Redmen come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 63-46 non-league win over Glenwood (New Boston, OH).
