The Elkhorn Elks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Delavan-Darien Comets to 46 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.

The Elks now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Grove for a Southern Lakes contest on Tuesday, January 24. Elkhorn will battle a Broncos team coming off a 57-54 league loss to Westosha Central (Salem, WI). The Broncos record now stands at 9-6.

The Comets (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Waterford (Waterford, WI). The Wolverines enter the Southern Lakes contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Waterford was defeated by New Berlin Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI), 76-50, in a non-league contest.
