Utah High School Basketball - Delta knocked off by Union

January 20, 2023: Roosevelt, UT 84066

The Union Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Delta Rabbits to 40 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Sanpete for a 3A Region 14 contest on Wednesday, January 25. Union will battle a Hawks team coming off a 82-66 league loss to Manti (Manti, UT). The Hawks record now stands at 7-9.

The Rabbits (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Soaring Eagle enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Juan Diego Catholic ran past Morgan (Morgan, UT), 59-55, in a non-league contest.
