The York Dukes basketball team (Elmhurst, IL), dropped 51-42 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL)
The Trojans now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bolingbrook for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Downers Grove North will battle a Raiders team coming off a 71-59 non-league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 16-5.
The Dukes (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 13-9 record. In their last battle, Glenbard North dropped by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 68-52, in a league battle.
