The Early Longhorns (Early, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX), 68-59 in Friday's league test.
The Longhorns (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Brock (Brock, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region I District 8 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Brock notched a victory over Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX), 62-28, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, January 24. Dublin will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 52-28 league win over Eastland (Eastland, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 20-5.
