The Thurston Colts basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Eagle Point Eagles to 42 in the Colts league triumph on Friday.
The Colts now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a 5A Midwestern contest on Tuesday, January 24. Thurston will meet a Millers team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to Marist (Eugene, OR). The Millers record now stands at 2-11.
The Eagles (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets enter the 5A Midwestern contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Crater was outscored by Churchill (Eugene, OR), 68-56, in a league contest.
