Mississippi High School Basketball - Humphreys County knocked off by Edwards

The Edwards Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Humphreys County Cowboys to 42 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McEvans for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Edwards will battle a Warriors team coming off a 72-68 league loss to Simmons (Hollandale, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 12-6.
The Cowboys (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS). The Panthers enter the 3A Region 3 contest with a 0-12 record.
