Elcho Hornets (Elcho, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Goodman-Pembine Falcons (Goodman, WI), 63-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Elcho upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI) to play the Rebels in a Northern Lakes bout on Monday, January 23. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Falcons play the Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Monday, January 23. Goodman-Pembine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
