Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX), 37-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Eldorado upgrades its record to 11-16 on the season. The Eagles travel to Christoval (Christoval, TX) to play the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 14-12. Christoval lost 53-51 in their recent league bout against Forsan (Forsan, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Water Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record.
