The Lake Belton Broncos basketball team (Temple, TX), was overwhelmed 75-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belton for a 5A Region III District 22 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Ellison will confront a Tigers team coming off a 43-36 league win over Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 20-7.
The Broncos (15-11) will now prepare for their battle against University (Waco, TX). The Trojans come into the 5A Region III District 22 battle with a 12-14 record. In their last battle, University trounced Waco (Waco, TX), 70-47, in a league battle.
