Georgia High School Basketball - Etowah trounces Woodstock

The Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) basketball crushed the host Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 76-40 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Creekview (Canton, GA). The Grizzlies go into the AAAAAA Region 6 test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Creekview was trounced by Cambridge (Milton, GA), 59-50, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Sequoyah for a AAAAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 24. Woodstock will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 73-67 non-league win over West Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-8.
