Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fairless Falcons (Navarre, OH), 61-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Manchester upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Springfield (Akron, OH) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Springfield lost 66-50 in their recent league bout against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH)

Next up, the Falcons play the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Fairless will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
