Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN), 63-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Dickson County (Dickson, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Dickson County lost 102-76 in their recent league bout against Henry County (Paris, TN)

Next up, the War Eagles clash with the Harpeth Indians (Kingston Springs, TN) in a 2A District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Sycamore will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 49-42 league win over White House-Heritage (White House, TN).
