The Fargo North Spartans basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Wahpeton Huskies to 67 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley City for a A East contest on Tuesday, January 24. Fargo North will battle a Hi-Liners team coming off a 66-48 non-league loss to New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Hi-Liners record now stands at 1-11.

The Huskies (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Breckenridge was defeated by Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN), 70-57, in a non-league bout.
